How Florida Man got laser eyes
Since 2013 the internet has collected headlines that start with “Florida Man…” and end somewhere nobody expected. He isn’t one person — he’s a legend about the sunniest, wildest state in America. And GTA 6 is heading to a Florida-inspired state. Coincidence? Here’s his story. Totally true. Well, mostly made up. Okay, completely made up.
The first headline
A local paper prints “Florida Man…” and the whole internet laughs. He reads it, smiles and takes it as a compliment. A legend is born.
The alligator in the pool
One morning he finds an alligator in his pool. Instead of calling anyone, he shares his pizza. Gary has been his best friend, bodyguard and financial advisor ever since. Gary wears a hat. Nobody knows where he got it.
The day he cried
The first GTA 6 trailer drops: beaches, neon, palm trees, pure chaos. He watches it on repeat and whispers to Gary: “Bro… that’s our neighborhood.” That night his eyes start glowing red. Doctors can’t explain it.
The long wait
Release date moves. Then moves again. Lesser men give up. Florida Man buys a lawn chair, a cooler and a very big umbrella, and sets up camp outside the game store. Gary holds his spot during pizza runs.
